About Us

HOW WE BEGAN
Every workman knows the necessity of keeping his tools in a good state of repairs. If the workman lose the edge from his blade, he knows that there will be a greater drought upon his energies, or his work will be badly done…We are, in a certain sense, our own tools, and therefore must keep ourselves in order….  ( C.H. Spurgeon)

IRON SHARPENERS FELLOWSHIP (ISf) is an interdenominational fellowship born from the breadth and in the heart of God with the sole purpose of sharpening and shaping the lives and destinies of people to be God’s choicest instrument of change in these Apostolic last days.
The Lord kept speaking and impressing it on the heart of His servant, Paul Rees Owusu-Sekyere on the need to gather again a people as in the past to pray and also to train them on how they can be useful tools in the Lord’s vineyard. Having partially moved back to Accra from Jasikan in the Volta Region of Ghana due to some slight health challenges, he felt again the Lord calling him back to a work he had abandoned. The Lord sent two witnesses in the person of Pastor Samson Cobbina (Tarkwah) and Prophet Emmanuel Aryee (Accra) to confirm His word to his servant about starting a fellowship for the Lord. This got Paul Rees  praying and asking the Lord  for a name for the fellowship. All suggested names he came up with fell into the shadow when the Lord in a dream in November 2013 ‘dropped’ the name Iron Sharpeners in his spirit around 2:30am that morning.
From that very fine morning onwards, he knew he was a man on a mission with a divine mandate to forge men into becoming useful tools in these Apostolic days in which we are. The coming of Paul Rees to Accra did not only birth ISf but also, the Eagle Eye Prophetic Network (EEPNet), an interdenominational new breed of Prophets and Seers with the sole aim of impacting the world with the pure prophetic ministry to advance the course of Heaven.
